How the metaphor acquires the visible form? How the etching is made? What is the idea of the paintings with the depiction of bricks? Does the artist Maxim Kantor remember that his early work “Brick Wall” was declined by censorship in 1984?

In “Ulitsa OGI” Gallery the demonstration of transformation of the content and plastic structure of the work is taking place.

Five etchings (four of them are similar to those exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery) are provided with some prints of the “intermediate states” of the work – by the stages. The emerging of the “new” and “disappearance of the waste” is presented as the independent “literary-artifact” text.

“The Society” – dozens of “bricks”- canvases are put together into a picture – “wall”. “The Wall” is open for transformation.
